Flywheel Cracking/Disintegration

There is a Land Rover recall for a small number of early Defender and Discovery Td5s for flywheel replacement.

As a result of the manufacturing process, the engine flywheel may develop surface cracks which under certain high load conditions can propagate, ultimately resulting in disintegration of the flywheel.
